She is ONE...she is ONE!!!!

OH MY!!! How time flew this year. Today our baby is one and is now offically a TODDLER!!! I sat down today while she was napping and looked through all her pictures and her achievements....and I literally started to cry. My baby is no longer a baby per say. I always noticed her getting taller and heavier, but never REALLY noticed it until today. She looked older. She is walking so much better now and even runs. She knows how to turn off and on the lights and she got her very first hair cut today. Nothing fancy, just made it all even in the back and around the sides...and cut her some bangs so she can wear her hair down without it being all in her eyes. OOO and she has cut 2 back teeth and that brings her grand total to 10 teeth!!!

I am going to post a couple pictures and then get off here before I make myself start to cry a little more tonight. Love you all!!

11 months (seriously, where did the time go?)

Things have been totally crazy over on this side. Walmart let me go, and I honestly think it was because I filed a work comp. claim on them for my ankle. Which that really could be the only reason because I was the best employee they could get. So I have been here at the house with Alexandrea with a hurt ankle acting up here and there, and Robert has been working to support our family. Anyways, onto our little bit. She is 11 months and 2 weeks and 4 days old today (April 22, 2009) She started walking in the beginning of March. She is actually pretty good at it now...good enough to run from you when she has something she isn't supposed to...LOL.

On Easter, she found her eggs like a pro...she picked them up and put them either in the basket I was holding or the one Robert was holding. I can not believe she is already going to be one.!!! Where did time go...literally??? She has been to her little friends birthday parties who turned one and enjoyed herself. She is eating everything we eat...I am talkin about everything...including brussell sprouts and asparagus. This child eats anything and everything put infront of her. She loves to snack on raw potatoes...weird child I know.

We will know exactly how much she weighs on the 5th and how tall she is now...I am guessing atleast 29 inches by now, and by the 5th...hopefully 20 lbs so we can turn her around facing frontways in her big girl carseat. She is talking a little. She can say thankyou, dog, momma, dadda. She knows what "taking a bath" is and knows how to shut the door for me. She thinks that everytime we get our keys out, its time to go somewhere. She is officially in size 12 months and wears a size 3 in shoe...but not very long because I have had to put some of them up due to her outgrowing them. I have posted some pictures up, so enjoy :)

February 2009 (sorry I am late with it)

I have been so behind on everything and let me say I am TRUELY sorry. Where to begin....

Alexandrea is now 9 months and 6 days old. We recently went to the doctors to get her 9 months shots and she weighed in at 17lbs 10.5 oz. and was 28 inches long. The doc said she is looking good for her stats and she is above normal for her accomplishments. This little girl is already trying to walk. She is holding to everything walking everywhere, taking a step without holding on but of course freaking out and then falling on her butt. She is crawling like there is no tomorrow...she actually hall-tails it when you go after her when she has something she knows she isnt supposed to have. She loves it when you play "I am going to get you" with her. She now has 8 teeth...THATS RIGHT!!! 8 teeth.....4 on top and 4 on bottom. She is now eating solid foods, as in big people food...most of the time she just has what we have but cut up a little smaller. She is talking up a storm now. She doesn't make sense most of the time but she will sit there and try to have an actual conversation with you...hand jesturs and everything...lol

She can say, momma and dadda and knows who is who (even though she mostly calls me mom). She says dog, love, bubba, na (which I think she is trying to say no), la te ba da....it funny because she also does this thing where she points at everything and you have to tell her what it is or she wont stop pointing till you do. You can ask her where her mommy or daddy is and she points at us...same with her dog. I cant believe that her first birthday is right around the corner, literally just thinkin about it makes me tear up. Where did all this time go??? On a good note, she is almost all the way putting her self to sleep now...THANK GOODNESS!!!! She is also eating with a spoon now...well she will eat some bights with the spoon, keep it the spoon in her hand and use the other hand to take a couple bights with using her fingers, then go back to the spoon. I thank God everyday for letting us get pregnant and giving us her, looking back at it now, I do not know what my life would even be like right now without her in it. As soon as she wakes up and I see her she says "mom" or "momma" and has this HUGE smile on her face or she is laughing and she gives me both a hug and a kiss (yes its an open mouth, drooling kiss, but I love it). Please forgive me again for being behind on posting about her and pics of her...things have been soo crazy lately. I had finally found a job and then they let me go because it was only seasonal...then I basically gave up trying to find another one because I kept getting the famous "We have decided to go with someone better" letter.....and I seriously went downhill, as in post pardom depression. I called our insurance company and they had told me that it was going to cost us some money for me to go see someone. I was getting more depressed and then my old job at Walmart called and said they had a position I could work in....sooo as of today I now work back up there. I start my schedule from 4pm to 1am tomorrow (02/11/2009 Wednesday). Things are looking up...we are planning on getting a new car (well new to us) with some of our refund check hopefully this week or next and then maybe by Alexandrea's first birthday we might have our own place.

The time he was down , Alexandrea was not feeling really well, but I got 2 pictures of them when she was actually smiling and a happy baby :) At first she didnt know what to think about him because he was a new person in the house...but then she warmed up to him and actually wanted him to pick her up a couple times instead of mommy.

Alexandrea as I have mentioned before, will literally lay/sit with her daddy and watch the whole football game when the jags play...sooo look what she now wears to watch the games with her daddy and his jersey....

The months of December 2008 and January 2009

I have not been able to post much because well I now have a baby who crawls and gets into EVERYTHING!!! We ended up having to go to the hospital on the 13th because Alexandrea had a bad cough...not croope, but bad to me and I wanted to make sure she could breath through the night...well when we took her up there, she weighed over 17lbs. Our little bit is growing like a weed...she is able to stand up holding on to something and about a minute alone. She now has 8 teeth (the 8th one just broke through the other night). She is now eating solids...and by solids I mean she is eating what me and Robert are eating. She LOVES strawberries, bananas, chicken, green beans, and OH YEAH she loves her little puffs. We recently gave her some gerber graduates chicken & carrots stuffed pasta, and she eats them like a pro. She has learned how to pick food up with her little pointer finger and thumb. She has this new smile and laugh that is hilarious. She will squint her eyes and scrunch up her nose and then throw her head back and squeel then start laughing. I swear, I know I say this all the time, but she is amazing and I cant believe how much she has grown these last 8 months...thats another thing...SHE IS 8 MONTHS OLD!!! Where has time gone. She can say momma, dadda, yeah, hi, uh huh, and hey. She knows who momma and dadda are and will ask for us by name. She is almost learnt how to wave. And she has learned how to point...mainly you point at her and she will point back at you...I know this isnt funny, but Robert will get on to her and point at her and tell her no, and she raises her little finger back up at him and points it right back at him. Which this brings me to another thing that I DO NOT like that she has started....She will literally throw a tantrum...she throws herself backwards and kicks her little legs and slams that little hand down on things or will ball her fists up and throw them down. I swear I know she is already going to be a little drama queen when she gets older and already a hand full.....I said earlier that she crawls, well she crawls fast, and now will "run" away from you when you go to get her, especially when she is getting into something and you go to move her and redirect her to something else...ooo yeah. Her motor skills are amazing, she really is a smart little girl, especially for only being 8 months old. Sorry had a proud mommy moment there. Anyways, thats about it and I promise to keep this blog alittle more updated so there are not tons of things behind....You will notice pictures through out this post and at the end of it...Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Alexandrea saying momma...I know its late, but I am slowly getting stuff up. This of course was when I was working overnights and while I was sleeping...go figure, just my luck...but now of course I hear it all the time with delight :)
