Beautiful Angel

It is almost Thanksgiving and I still can not believe that this year is almost over. Alexandrea is offically crawling and moving everywhere. She is pulling herself up on everything. Nothing really to post, but I wanted to post a couple pictures of her...I thank God everyday for the blessing he has given us. Sometimes I still catch myself just staring at her in amasement that I can not believe me and Robert created such a beautiful baby. Well hope everyone is still keeping track of her growing...because next thing you know she is going to be one and walking and talking. She has now figured out that the dogs are hers and she can play with them when ever she wants...she loves to watch them play outside the window. She actually gets upset when CJ doesnt want to come and play. Well ok, I am signing off here for now...out little doodle bug is wanting her lunch....mmm Turkey and Green beans.

All by herself...

Well I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Alexandrea has learned how to sit up on her own without anyones help. She is crawling a lot faster now and she is giving us such a work out. She is babbling a lot more and I think she said "dada" but I am not sure because she hasnt said it since. She is about to out grow her current size 3-6 month clothes and move on into 6-9 months. Which we dont really have a lot of. Guess that is going to be a couple Christmas gifts. We went and got her 6 month shots and she was such a big girl. She cried but not that long, like 5 minutes. The first one she got she was stunned and by the last one (3 in total), she had this look on her face like "WHY mom, WHY!!!". Her stats were excellent. 26 inches long and 16lbs. She finally got the top tooth broke through and now the one next to it is about to break skin...thats 2 teeth breaking skin in 2 weeks. And on the opposite side you can see the 2 top white spots. She starts her "sleep training" tomorrow (Monday)...FUN FUN!!! But this past weekend she has slept most of the night with only 2 wakings for feedings. AWESOME!!! The reason we are trying to get her used to sleeping in her room with only like 1 or 2 feedings is because I might be working nights very soon. Plus the doc said she is old enough now where she should already be doing this. OOO, she tried her first meats the other night. TURKEY!! She made a weird face, but she loves it now...we are not going to try another meat for another 2 weeks. I already posted that she knows how to pull herself up on her crib...and now she is trying to pull herself up on everything else around the house. Thats it for now, of course keep your eyes and hears open for more updates.

Watch out...she is on the move!!!!!

So today Alexandrea took her first real crawling moves. SIX to be exact. I was so proud of her. She has been trying her hardest these past couple weeks. She always gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth, and then would always fall flat again on her tummy when she went to move. Well these past few days she has really been scooting across the floor doing an army crawl and rolling around a lot to get where she wanted. I had a toy over on the opposite side of her, just wondering if she would try to come and get it, and well to my surprise she did. I had to get Robert to see it and film it. Took us another good 15 minutes, but we finally caught her on video.

I just cant believe how big she is getting already and she is only 6 months old. As I mentioned before her tooth on the top had broke skin finally, well she was REALLY fussy today, more than normal, and I looked and she has 2 more top teeth that should be coming in shortly. I swear it is like she thinks she is a grown girl. I went into her bedroom this afternoon to change her after her little "after lunch" nap, and this is what I found. She was just so proud of herself, like "Hey mom look what I did". I freaked out of course, and told Robert it is time to move the mattress down another beg. I am telling ya, she is growing to big for her own good. Next thing you know, she is going to be walking and running around this place like she owns it. On another good note, she is kinda in the process of learning how to put herself down for a nap. Now the only thing we gotta start working on is her sleeping through the night and not waking up every 2 hours or so. It is VERY exhausting!!! Well tomorrow is her doctors appointment for her 6 months well baby check up....which mean......SHOTS!! I know, I know, I am going to have one crabby baby on my hands tomorrow. With the teeth and the shots, I think I may take a mental brain shut off day and let daddy take care of it, LOL. Tomorrow I also got an interview...woot woot...I am done saying lets keep our fingers crossed because I have officially joined what me and my friend Amanda call, the Interview Flunky Anonymous Group. Seems like every time I go on an interview and think it went really really well and know for sure I am going to get a call back saying "YOUR HIRED" I never do. I am not going to get on that subject on here, that will be another post on my other blog I am going to be starting just for mommy. Hope all is well with everyone and be safe.

Catching up with Alexandrea

So lets see, since I am just now getting around to creating something like this, and it is my first time really creating something like, well except for myspace...lol...I am going to catch you up to date with everything that has gone on with little miss Alexandrea Kaylee Adams.

PRE-MONTH ONE
MAY 2008

Alexandrea slept through the night most of the time. And she was such a good baby, just lay there and coo. She was the perfect mothers day gift anyone could ask for. By 05/16/08, almost 2 weeks old and she was back up to her birth weight. On 05/17/08 she had her first real bath with soap because her cord had fallen off a few days prior. 05/22/08 she was 9lbs, 03 oz, and 21.5 inches long.
ONE MONTH OLD
June 2008
She smiled for the first time and it wasnt a gas smile. She still pretty much slept through the night, just the occasional wake up for feeding. She celebrated her first fathers day. She got attached to her blankie and laughed for the first time. She was able to turn her head, she focused on things a little better and could follow people around with her eyes. And she sat in her Bumbo chair for the first time and sat up like a big girl...even though she couldnt sit up on her own without it yet.

TWO MONTHS OLD
July 2008
Alexandrea celebrated her first 4th of July...didnt spend but like 10 minutes outside because of misquitos. She got her first set of shots...and she was NOT happy at all...poor thing slept all day after that. She weighed 11lbs and 11oz, and was 23.25 inches long. One of the most coolest things ever, was she rolled over one time from her tummy to her back. She was also able to do "tummy time" like a champ and was able to hold her head up.

THREE MONTHS OLD
August 2008
We had to move back to my mothers house, and she slept in her own room by herself all night...the only night that she has slept through out the night all night. She played in her excersaucer for the first time. She rolled over from her back to her tummy. Her first tooth broke skin, and the 2nd one broke skin at the end of that month. She had 2 bottom front teeth. She also went and flew on an airplane for the first time to see her Granpa, Grandma Traci, and Aunt Krystal and Aunt Haylie in Louisiana. She weighed in at 14lbs and .05oz, and was 23.75 inches long.

FOUR MONTHS OLD
September 2008
Alexandrea sat up alone for 2min. at the beginning of the month and by the end she was able to sit up for about 10 min. Of course you had to put her in that position, but she could sit up on her own. She celebrated Labor day at her Mima and Papas and went to Uncle Barrys birthday party at the bowling alley. On the 28th, I was really worried about her eye because her tear duct still wasnt opening and it was really red and swallon...soo we took her up there and just like I had thought (the doctors kept telling me no), she had an infection in it and the doc rubbed it just the right way and gave her some drops and some antibotics and her bright blue eyes were both wide eyed and open. She also got her 2nd set of shots...but she was a big girl and only cried for like 5 minutes and then was her bright and cheerfull self again. She weighed 14lbs and .01oz and 24.5 inches long....she had lost a little bit of weight because she had gotten a little cold from her father and was sleeping a lot.

FIVE MONTHS OLD
October 2008

She had to go in for a check up from when she had went to the hospital...5 days later...weighed 15lbs and was 25 inches long. She could scoot around and got to where ever she wanted to go, regardless of how long it took her. She was able to sit up on her own with none of us supporting her...of course she is still trying to make herself sit up on her very own. She started solids...was a little sad because we didnt think she was ready for them, but again she proved us wrong and showed us what a big girl she was and ate baby rice cereal. Started out as once a day in the a.m., then once in the a.m. and again in the evening. She went to see her Uncle Kenny, Aunt Christina and cousin Brianna in Mississippi for the first time. She got to start on actual baby food...first one was carrots. She moved from the little baby bath tub to the big bath tub in the bathroom. She is able to grab small objects and keep herself occupied with her toys. She went to her 1st dance, and her 1st Halloween...she went as a fairy princess. She also drank her very diluted juice out of her practice sippy cup.Which now brings me to her turning six months old on NOVEMBER 4th, 2008. One of the most rememberal days in our history. A black president was elected into office. Obama...and I can be proud and look back and tell our daughter that the country pulled together and did the right thing and made a move to make a change for the better. So far this month, she is scooting and almost crawling, just have to get the whole hands and legs moving together thing down. She has a favorite kid learning show she watchs...SID THE SCIENCE KID on PBSkids, Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 9:00am....she may not watch the whole thing, but she does watch a majority of it...its very educational. Her 1st top tooth broke skin today...YAY!!! She has to go to the Pedi's office on Monday the 10th to get her 6month shots...ICK!!!!!!!!!! She is eating on an actual schedule now with babyfood....she even eats a vegi and a fruit in the day. I will post more things that happen this month when they happen....

SOOOOOOOO now that you are up to date basically on Alexandrea, now you can sit back and watch our precious gift from God grow.

How we became BabyAdamsMakes3

It was April 15, 2005 when I first met Robert J. Adams. We were not even supposed to be together longer than one night. Lets just say the first date, sucked big donkey balls. I never saw us going out on another again after that night. Between him talking about another girl that lived in another state, that girl calling every hour, and him getting so drunk and acting like a fool, I thought that the date was a disaster!! Just happened the next day he called and I had nothing to do so we hung out again, and ever since then we have been apart of each others lives every day. We have had our ups and downs through out the years, but have worked through them. On December 25, 2006 the one thing that I thought Robert would never do, he did...He asked me to be his wife. It was so unexpected, but yet it felt so right. We were in the middle of planning our wedding when on August 28, 2007 we found out that we were expecting. YEAH!!! total shock to us both. So in besides planning a wedding, we had to start planning for a little baby to come into our lives.

The next nine months seemed to fly by and still no baby and our wedding day was here. April 12, 2008. So now we are Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Adams. As Robert says I was no longer Lois Rebecca Patach (Becky). It was like a dream come true. I mean it was not the actual wedding we had planned for, but it was a VERY beautiful wedding. As you can see I was a VERY VERY pregnant bride. Her due date was one week and a day after our wedding day. It did seem weird at first to call each other husband and wife, but of course we got used to it. That day seem to just fly by. We woke up single people by law and then next thing we know we were going to bed a married couple.

Another week and a half went by and still no baby...she was way past due, and trust me on this, I was sooooooo ready for her to come out and me done being pregnant. We went to the OB on Thursday, May 01, 2008 and found out that I was 3cm and almost fully effaced. We were finally having the beginnings of contractions through out the night and decided we were going to walk the dogs around the block to see if we could get this baby out our own, but no luck, so we were scheduled for an induction on Monday, May 5, 2008 @ 9:00am. Saturday, May 03, 2008 I decided to clean the house and then I was going to relax and sleep all day Sunday before our big day on Monday. Well I take that our daughter had things planned her own way because around 11:00pm Saturday night I went into labor with the real deal contractions. I tried everything possible to work through them on my own till around 3:30am on Sunday, when I finally decided to tell Robert ok lets go to the hospital. The labor was long and hard, and we ended up having to have a c-section because she was stuck behind my pelvic bone. Our beautiful daughter Alexandrea Kaylee Adams was born into this world on Sunday May 04, 2008 @ 6:36pm. She weighed 8lbs 10oz and was 19inchs long.

She was the most beautifulest thing in this world I had ever seen, and instantly we both knew what it meant to be parents and the love that everyone tells you about having for your own child.

So that is our story of how we became BabyAdamsMakes3. Robert, Rebeccah and Alexandrea Adams.
