11 months (seriously, where did the time go?)

Things have been totally crazy over on this side. Walmart let me go, and I honestly think it was because I filed a work comp. claim on them for my ankle. Which that really could be the only reason because I was the best employee they could get. So I have been here at the house with Alexandrea with a hurt ankle acting up here and there, and Robert has been working to support our family. Anyways, onto our little bit. She is 11 months and 2 weeks and 4 days old today (April 22, 2009) She started walking in the beginning of March. She is actually pretty good at it now...good enough to run from you when she has something she isn't supposed to...LOL.

On Easter, she found her eggs like a pro...she picked them up and put them either in the basket I was holding or the one Robert was holding. I can not believe she is already going to be one.!!! Where did time go...literally??? She has been to her little friends birthday parties who turned one and enjoyed herself. She is eating everything we eat...I am talkin about everything...including brussell sprouts and asparagus. This child eats anything and everything put infront of her. She loves to snack on raw potatoes...weird child I know.

We will know exactly how much she weighs on the 5th and how tall she is now...I am guessing atleast 29 inches by now, and by the 5th...hopefully 20 lbs so we can turn her around facing frontways in her big girl carseat. She is talking a little. She can say thankyou, dog, momma, dadda. She knows what "taking a bath" is and knows how to shut the door for me. She thinks that everytime we get our keys out, its time to go somewhere. She is officially in size 12 months and wears a size 3 in shoe...but not very long because I have had to put some of them up due to her outgrowing them. I have posted some pictures up, so enjoy :)

February 2009 (sorry I am late with it)

I have been so behind on everything and let me say I am TRUELY sorry. Where to begin....

Alexandrea is now 9 months and 6 days old. We recently went to the doctors to get her 9 months shots and she weighed in at 17lbs 10.5 oz. and was 28 inches long. The doc said she is looking good for her stats and she is above normal for her accomplishments. This little girl is already trying to walk. She is holding to everything walking everywhere, taking a step without holding on but of course freaking out and then falling on her butt. She is crawling like there is no tomorrow...she actually hall-tails it when you go after her when she has something she knows she isnt supposed to have. She loves it when you play "I am going to get you" with her. She now has 8 teeth...THATS RIGHT!!! 8 teeth.....4 on top and 4 on bottom. She is now eating solid foods, as in big people food...most of the time she just has what we have but cut up a little smaller. She is talking up a storm now. She doesn't make sense most of the time but she will sit there and try to have an actual conversation with you...hand jesturs and everything...lol

She can say, momma and dadda and knows who is who (even though she mostly calls me mom). She says dog, love, bubba, na (which I think she is trying to say no), la te ba da....it funny because she also does this thing where she points at everything and you have to tell her what it is or she wont stop pointing till you do. You can ask her where her mommy or daddy is and she points at us...same with her dog. I cant believe that her first birthday is right around the corner, literally just thinkin about it makes me tear up. Where did all this time go??? On a good note, she is almost all the way putting her self to sleep now...THANK GOODNESS!!!! She is also eating with a spoon now...well she will eat some bights with the spoon, keep it the spoon in her hand and use the other hand to take a couple bights with using her fingers, then go back to the spoon. I thank God everyday for letting us get pregnant and giving us her, looking back at it now, I do not know what my life would even be like right now without her in it. As soon as she wakes up and I see her she says "mom" or "momma" and has this HUGE smile on her face or she is laughing and she gives me both a hug and a kiss (yes its an open mouth, drooling kiss, but I love it). Please forgive me again for being behind on posting about her and pics of her...things have been soo crazy lately. I had finally found a job and then they let me go because it was only seasonal...then I basically gave up trying to find another one because I kept getting the famous "We have decided to go with someone better" letter.....and I seriously went downhill, as in post pardom depression. I called our insurance company and they had told me that it was going to cost us some money for me to go see someone. I was getting more depressed and then my old job at Walmart called and said they had a position I could work in....sooo as of today I now work back up there. I start my schedule from 4pm to 1am tomorrow (02/11/2009 Wednesday). Things are looking up...we are planning on getting a new car (well new to us) with some of our refund check hopefully this week or next and then maybe by Alexandrea's first birthday we might have our own place.
